Day 33 Cherry gap to roan 16.8

Today was probably the hardest day on the trail yet. The ice at the top of roam mt was brutal. It was like the smokies. The rest of the gang pushed on another 6 miles to the barn. Lucky, trudge, Vegas, sandman and I all stayed and froze our buns of withe the 6000 foot elevation. At 9 pm the little girl through up in the bottom part of the shelter. We were happy to be up top and not to have heard her. I learned the hard way that sleeping with a top quilt to a hammock will not keep you warm in a shelter.
